At our Honolulu, Hawaii office, we blend the spirit of the islands with our commitment to Sustainable, Responsible, and Impact (SRI) investing. We are proud to be fee-only advisors, dedicated to helping you navigate the financial landscape in alignment with your values.

Our founder, Bill, has a special connection to Hawaii. During his time as an engineer at an acoustical consulting firm, he spent a significant part of a year living in the picturesque town of Kailua, Oahu. At that time, he was working for a firm with offices both in Denver and Kailua, and the Hawaii office faced a shortage of staff.

Bill’s stay in Hawaii provided a welcomed respite during a challenging period in his life—a time when he was going through a divorce. He took advantage of the beauty and serenity of the Hawaiian islands to find solace and build lasting memories.

During his stay in Oahu, Bill embraced the island’s way of life. He learned to surf, immersing himself in the thrilling world of wave riding. On his days off, you could often find him playing spirited games of basketball with his office mates, forging bonds and camaraderie that would last a lifetime.

The crystal-clear waters surrounding Oahu offered Bill the opportunity to explore the stunning underwater world. He ventured into the depths for snorkeling excursions and embarked on a memorable scuba dive, discovering the vibrant marine life beneath the waves.

While Bill’s time in Hawaii was primarily centered on Oahu, where he lived and worked, he did venture to Maui on one occasion for a job assignment. However, his dedication to his work meant he didn’t linger beyond the necessary project time.

At our Honolulu office, we carry forward the spirit of Hawaii—its beauty, its tranquility, and its sense of community. We strive to bring the same sense of adventure and dedication to our work as Bill did during his time in Kailua.
